Responsibilities include:
- Process payroll for 150 employees (non-union), including hourly and salaried employees.
- Ensure timely payroll processing, meeting weekly and bi-monthly deadlines.
- Review payroll documentation for accuracy and make necessary adjustments.
- Prepare payroll and management reports, journal entries, and reconcile quarterly payroll taxes.
- Manage garnishments, levies, child support, and vacation/sick time.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters with confidentiality.
What you need to succeed:
- Strong grasp of GAAP.
- 3-5 years of payroll experience.
- Construction experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with Computerease or UKG is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
